In April 2020 I lived 10 minutes from Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York City, where COVID-19 hit hard. New York City has been about surviving and thriving for me, but COVID-19 made it survival of the fittest. People stayed in their apartments and avoided one another. In July 2021, New York City still didn't feel the same. Stay Connected explores how our human desire to connect with one another can be thwarted when our safety is threatened.
